A very difficult decision, for sure. I totally understand the dilemma and the anti-climactic feeling of the moment. Perhaps you are all ready for a tiny celebration--not a big massive one, mind you--just a little tiny one where you can mark the achievement, your hope for the future, and God's power to use even the worst things in some good way. (Which He will undoubtedly continue to use you to do.) I'm so sorry for the sadness of what should have been a very happy day. Love and hugs, dear friend.
My advice is to take some Tincture of Time and try not to think about this decision until next week. Then see how you feel about it, bearing in mind that there is no "right" answer.
