Ordinary Grace ~ 3

It's been a little too chilly this week, but usually my favorite place to work at school in the spring and fall is outside in the small quad in front of the library.

  1. Oh yes....I was just thinking yesterday (and every day for the past month) how beautiful it is here in the Midwest - how much I missed blooming trees like redbuds and crabapple and pear and magnolia's and lilac and tulips, hiacynth and jonquils. And, green grass and trees with leaves. The desert had it's own beauty but not lush like this. Yes, small simple, grace.

  2. Spring is coming slowly to the mountains this year, giving me more time to linger over the fragile Shooting Stars in the grass, and to marvel as the gold of oak buds transforms to thin green.

  3. That is so pretty? What kind of tree is it?

  4. NO IDEA. I'm a fauna person, not a flora person. Anyone?
