I'm thinking that it was probably the summer of 1992 ~ the Lovely Daughter about to turn five and her brothers almost eight. We headed for the Adirondacks to camp in a lean-to for a week. Out first hike was up Mount Jo for a picnic:

ReplyDeleteIt is just so hard to look at the same photos that used to bring such happy memories, but now feel as if they hold a hidden secret of tragedy in their future. I look at all the photos as times when everything seemed possible, when we all had so many dreams. I miss those times of freedom and possibilities.
