All In One Day
A first meeting with a new directee, someone who is training to become a spiritual director herself.
Three meetings with state legislative aides to explain why I think legislation mandating suicide prevention education for teachers is important.
A long afternoon at the hospital supporting two daughters through the decision to allow their mother to die peacefully, and the final vigil at her bedside.
Telephone conversations with my children, one just returning from a conference and one working on his job search.
The tail-end of a Bible study I am supposed to be co-leading.
I've been absorbed with a lot of my own stuff lately.
But some days I really do get to do things I've been called to do, all day long.
Sacred moments, all day long.
