Wernersville Chapel

I just want to post this because, as we all know, I am a sucker for church architecture and artistry of pretty much any kind at all.  This is the main chapel at Wernersville ~ seldom used for worship, but always available for prayer. I've lightened the photo considerably because it is usually VERY DARK IN THERE, and I want you to see its beauty.  My own camera is inadequate to the task. Enjoy!

  1. The spot where you took this photo is (so far) my favorite spot at Wernersville.

  2. I like it there, too, Di! But mostly I like to sit in the sanctuary itself, about six pews from the front on the left.

  3. great pics! planning a time apart in November for silent weekend and spiritual direction. Love the place where you took the pic but my favorite is the side nook which is to the left of the altar in your picture. The place where women could go before women should.

  4. That is just stunning. Makes even chatterbox me want to go in and sit in silence.
