  2. What does that mean - that it's part of an interview for a call?

  3. Karen, it means that a church's nominating committee has, well, nominated me to become its pastor and I have accepted, pending the next two steps, the first of which is to preach a sermon for the congregation which then votes on my candidacy. The second is to appear at their presbytery meeting ( meeting of representatives from all the churches in the presbytery) to be examined and approved for ordination and installation.

  7. let me know if you could use any hope ;') by the way, I am considering "liking" this. Margaret thinks I need to ask a Jesuit if my snark is a spiritual gift.
